Catching Up

You'll have to forgive me, but its been months since my last post...so sorry :-/  I guess it's harder than I thought in keeping up with 3 blogs, Facebook, and family life too...hehehe... Well, here I am, trying to think of an update. Earlier I was thinking of just directing everyone to my other blog 'Memories With Pictures of the Day' but I'm going to try and keep up on this anyway. I really do love my blogs :) I updated it with some pictures. I do enjoy keeping everyone posted on what's happening with 'The Rowells.'

We have been working on several fundraisers for the kids. Ryan is going to camp the end of June and we've been selling 'The World's Finest Chocolates' and have sold 6 boxes! Yeah for Ryan!!! His way to camp is paid for! And, Meg is going to PEAK Youth Conference in Oklahoma in July, and her way is paid for too. Working on spending money for the both of them.

I hacked into my MOM's blog!!!! MUAHAHAHAHA!!! ;D

Well, here is "My Story" from (obviously) MY point of view :) lol.
I just ended my FIRST week of homeschool!!!! I should throw a party ;) haha jk!
*my parents would die* lol
It went really good! I need to work out a few things but over-all, its fun being stuck inside all day!
Lol I attend Capistrano Connections Academy, an online school.
I don't see why I spent 8 hours at my public school when I spend half those hours online & working at my own pace! :D I still get finished early if I take my time! Lol.
It's fun :D hehe!

or maybe when I hack her blog again ;)

My new Toshiba Laptop

Here is picture of my new computer, which Jason surprised me with today!! He and Meagan left for Office Depot and something just didn't seem right; I knew he was up to something!! BUT, would have NEVER thought he would have come home with a new laptop for me! NEVER, since I know we don't have that kind of money right now! I feel VERY guilty!! He said he's been saving up for months just for that purpose (of course it was without me knowing since I would have used that money for hhhhmmmm bills, rent, groceries, dry cleaning, and the list can go on and on)...I guess he got tired of me complaining for the last few months, since my little ACER Notebook has been very slow and sometimes I feel like throwing my computer out the window...lol...not really, but yes, very frustrating!! The mistake I made with my ACER was saving too much on the hard drive...but I've been so frustrated since the speakers stopped working and I don't have a disk drive to listen to CD's! Anyway, again, feeling very guilty, but greatful and will take this special gift that my husband has purchased for me! Thank you Babe :) LOVE YA!!

Congratulations to our brother, Jeff & sister-in-law, Kristy, who gave birth to Nolan Buster yesterday, August 31st. He was 6lbs 8 oz, 19.5 in long. More pictures to come :-)

Daddy's helper

Ryan has been a great helper around the house...he really enjoys helping with the yard.

Since Jason's been sick, he's taken care of watering the lawn most of the time. I tried sneaking some pictures of him . Of course Korbin never wants to miss out on the action either. On this particular day, Korbin also decided he wanted to help water the lawn and it ended up in a water fight...lol...Korbin wasn't laughing!! Since he's the smallest and lost the water war!

Mom's 60th Birthday Party

On Saturday, July 4th, we celebrated my Mom's 60th birthday. Her b-day was actually on the 2nd of July.



And my sister, Nancy, surprised me with a birthday cake!! And I had more bday presents and even a few more presents from her and my sister Yesi for my graduation. How sweet!!! I felt very special ;-)
As you can see from all the pictures we had a fun time. The kids enjoyed hanging out, playing, and lighting their fireworks, since it was the 4th of July.



Due to us being out of town, we did miss baby Jared's 1st bday party that was at Mom's (Rowell) house. I heard it was a blast...and we missed it :-( I wish we could have been at both party's, but being that they were 3 hrs away it was impossible!!

This is the card Ryan made for Daddy at school...it came with a booklet of redeemable tickets... I hate to say this, but that evening Korbin got a hold of scissors and it was in pieces by the time he was done cutting...We have to hide the evidence, since Ryan will be very upset with Korbin...I may try and tape it together!!
