Photo session of Meg & Korbin

For a few weeks now Meagan and I have been talking about doing a mini photo shoot in our yard...the flowers are blooming and we have several cute "photo spots" where picture taking would be perfect! Well, today was the day. After coming home from being out shopping for a few hours we got the camera out. Originally, the photo shot was going to be of Meg only, but Korbin wanted in...so we got him dressed too :-)... however, Ryan wanted no part of it (we'll do some of him tomorrow after Sunday School). Here are a few pictures and my favorites!

6 Weeks and Counting

Well, I'm down to the last 6 weeks of class AND it's count down!! It's going to be the longest 6 weeks of my life ... I can hardly bring myself to log in to class and do homework ... I just want it to be over already!! My cap and gown came in a few days ago and announcements have been mailed out. We're planning a little get together with family after the graduation. Meagan is also graduates (being promoted) from 8th grade on the 11th of June so we figured we'd do a little celebration since family and a few close friends are coming in from out of town too.

I want to go to school Mommy

For the last 2 weeks Korbin has cried every morning as we drop Ryan off at school! He says to me, "I wanna go to school Mommy!" And he really means it too...poor child, if he only knew all the years of school he has ahead.


Well, today he got his wish. We played school. I told him I wasn't going to be his Mommy this morning but I'd be his teacher. He liked that idea and it lasted for about 30 min. Here are a few pictures of him cutting, drawing circles, and writing (scribbling :-) his name.

Enjoying the Day

Here are a few pictures of the kids enjoying a nice hot day in the back yard, playing with toys they hadn't seen in a very long time; some were in storage and others weren't easily accessible.

A Moment of Silence

This post is dedicated to my niece, Kristy Lopez, who has suffered a great loss...the loss of her boyfriend. While she has been away in the air force training, her boyfriend was killed back home in a terrible car accident...the fact is that he's gone. Today was his funeral and she's grieving, away from her family and her loved ones, and wasn't able to attend the funeral to say her last goodbyes. Please say a comforting prayer for her. Thank you!

The Best of Great-Grandpa

I've had these pictures for a few months and have been meaning to post a few. Korbin, our 2.5 yr old has truly been blessed with the best of Great-Grandpa's time. Korbin loves trailing after him. Whether it was for yard work, a walk with Boggie (Grandpa's dog), or just hanging-out time.

The Move
